With 190 acres of protected bush land, there are lots of walks around the large dam and through the bush. History is uncovered as you walk on the original Cobb & Co Coach track and visit the old slip rail post where it passed through the property.

From the centre of Bendigo, follow the Midland Highway out of Bendigo in the direction of Echuca (North) for approx. 5.8km. Take the right hand turn into Taylor street, sign-posted to Fosterville and then, Barnardown, Fosterville. This turn off is opposite the Jayco Caravans Dealership and the BP Subway service station on the right hand corner. After crossing the railway line, turn left and follow this road named (Taylor Street). Do not turn off this road at any stage until having travelled the 18.5km from the railway crossing. Then you come to a 90 degree cross road with a sign indicating Goornong to the left. This is the Goornong - Fosterville road. Please refer to the map provided in the 'HOW TO FIND US' heading.
